The Forum will open its 2024-2025 Season with Plena Libre, a multi-Grammy nominated Afro-Rican band that combines traditional plena and bomba rhythms with other Afro-Caribbean styles and jazz. Their music creates contagious dance music that honors the group’s deep sense of unique indigenous musical traditions while embracing modern sounds.
Plena Libre will perform at Prior-Jollek Hall. The Courtyard will open at 6 p.m.; the concert will begin at 7 p.m., Saturday, October 19.
