Third Man Charged in Police Probe into Illicit Videos

A third man has been arrested on charges of possession of videos depicting illicit sexual content, the V.I. Police Department reported Saturday.

Arlington Graham, 61, surrendered to police on Friday evening on St. Thomas after a warrant was issued for his arrest on March 22, according to the report.

Graham was arrested and charged with prohibition of visual medium depicting sexually explicit conduct, police said. Bail was set at $20,000, and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his advice of rights hearing, according to court documents.

Graham’s arrest follows that of two other men — Jermain Turnbull, 48, and Zeff Blyden, 51 — who surrendered to police on Wednesday after warrants were issued for their arrest on the same charges. Their bail also was set at $20,000.

The charges stem from an investigation that began on Dec. 19, according to the report, which offers few details. Detectives were dispatched to Cowpet Bay West concerning an incident where it was revealed that individuals had video images/videos depicting illicit sexual content in their possession, it said.

The arrest warrants and related documents have been filed under seal in V.I. Superior Court, but the probable cause fact sheets indicate the men are charged under a chapter of Title 14 of the Virgin Islands Code, which concerns the Computer Pornography and Child Exploitation Prevention Act.
