Tribute to “The Man Who Never Sleeps”

Editor,

On our growing St. John we have many people who have the job of keeping our island running. There are men and women on the job keeping the trash picked up and cutting the bush on the side of the road to keep it clear and safe for everyone.

When you reach a sharp turn on Centerline Road, a driver doesn’t need bush on the side of the road impeding his vision, especially since we drive on the left. Benson, “the man who never sleeps,” keeps the roads safe and cleans up during all of the July 4th celebrations.

The crew which stays on the job 24/7 for our St. John Carnival, should be acknowledged and applauded. Keep them on the road and cleaning the village for our festivities because they are dedicated to “a job well done.” Thanks for everything you do.

Sincerely,
Loretto Kraft
