Two males were shot Sunday on St.Thomas and one of the victims has died, the V.I. Police Department reported.
911 Call Center received a call of shots fired in Savan On Sunday afternoon. Both victims were transported to Schneider Regional Medical Center via private vehicle. One of the victims succumbed to his injuries, and the other victim is being treated for his wounds.
Next of kin identified the deceased as 29-year-old Shamoi K. Charleswell.
Charleswell’s death is the 10th homicide on St. Thomas in 2022, according to the Source Homicide List. The territory has had a total of 33 homicides this year.
