The U.S. Virgin Islands Department of Tourism marketing campaigns and activations received national recognition from the w3 Awards.

The “USVI: Naturally in Rhythm” marketing campaign and activations received two silver awards for Brand Strategy for Marketing and Integrated Campaign for Marketing.

“This award is another testament to the great and collaborative work between the Department of Tourism and agency partners, who help to bring our ideas to life on a grand stage,” said Joseph Boschulte, USVI commissioner of tourism. “As we expand our geographical reach, campaigns, and activations are at the center of much of our marketing strategy to not only showcase the territory but allow people to be immersed in our culture even before they step foot on the islands.”

Supported by agencies Miles Partnership and Development Counsellors International, the USVI Department of Tourism has created immersive elemental activations for key partnerships and trade shows in premier markets, including Chicago, Boston, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Savannah, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and others.

The w3 Awards honor creative excellence on the web, and they recognize the people behind award-winning Websites, Online Marketing, Web Video, Mobile Sites and Apps, Social, Podcasts and Emerging Tech. In honoring the best of the Web, the w3 Awards is the first major digital competition to be accessible to the biggest agencies, the smallest firms and everyone in between.

This award comes on the heels of the USVI being named as a top Caribbean island in Condé Nast Traveler’s annual Reader’s Choice Awards.
