Originally scheduled to begin at the end of October, the U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Association (USVISA) has postponed the Youth Festivals Small Sided Games on St. Thomas. The games will begin on Saturday, Nov. 29. Also, the activity will begin on St. Croix on Saturday, Nov. 29, at the Bethlehem Soccer Complex.

These games are the perfect way for youth to play soccer, the world’s most popular sport, and to get fit.  The festivals will support player development and the growth of the game, a few of the pillars of the USVISA strategic plan.

The association wants to have all members of the community involved; all skill levels are welcome to participate in its free family-friendly games. Locations will be announced later.

The first half of the festivals will be played in a 2v2 format and the second half in 4v4.  There is online registration.  Registration on match day is available.

There will be entertainment, food and drinks for sale, bouncy houses, face painting and more. In one word, Fun!
