USVISA’s Jett Blaschka Goes Professional

Jett Blaschka (born Sept. 16, 1999) is a United States Virgin Islands international footballer who plays for Manchester 62 FC of the Gibraltar National League as well as the United States Virgin Islands national team.

The U.S. Virgin Islands Soccer Association congratulates Men National Team (MNT) starter and 3-time 2021 UPSL Team of the Week selectee with the Pittsburgh City United FC Jett Blaschka on signing a contract to play professional soccer with the Manchester 62 FC organization in Gibraltar. It is a small country, 2.6 square miles, on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula, with Spain on its northern border and is a British overseas territory.

Per Manchester 62 FC social media, Jett is considered one of their highest profile international signings in sometime. The club is one of eleven clubs in the Gibraltar Football Association’s Premier League. The Gibraltar FA was formed in 1895 and is one of the oldest football associations in the world. They are also one of the 55 National Associations that fall under the organizing umbrella of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
