UVI-CELL Offers Two-Day Grant Writing and Management Workshops

Individuals interested in learning the ins and outs of grant writing are urged to register by Aug. 31 for the “Hit Submit” Grant Writing and Management Workshop. Rashida Francis, expert grant writer and reviewer, will guide participants through the process during the two-day workshop. All attendees will be required to arrive with a laptop to the session. There will be one workshop on St. Thomas and one on St. Croix.

The workshop will provide participants with practical information to successfully construct and complete a grant proposal. Topics will include: types of grant opportunities, making your organization grant ready, components of a strong grant application, the grant cycle, researching grants, program evaluation and reporting, compliance monitoring and much more.

St. Thomas
Sept. 9 and Sept. 10 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Small Business Development Center (SBDC), 8000 Nisky Center, Suite 720
St. Croix
Sept. 12 and Sept. 13 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at UVI Great Hall, Albert A. Sheen Campus

Interested participants are encouraged to register by Saturday, Aug. 31, because space is limited. An additional fee will be applied for all late registrations.
