The Virgin Islands Parole Board (Board) advises the public that it will convene over the course of several days, beginning next month, to hear testimonies from persons for and against inmates incarcerated at various penal institutions.
During the following days, the Board will meet inmates at the Criminal Justice Complex located on St. Thomas on Nov. 15. Then on Nov. 18, the Board will meet with inmates at the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility on St. Thomas. All meetings will start at 8 a.m. and the afternoon sessions will start at 12:30 p.m.
On Dec. 2, the Board will meet inmates at the Keen Mountain Correctional Facility in Oakwood, Va. and the Wallen Ridge State Prison located in Pound, Va. On Dec. 5 and Dec. 6, the Board will meet with inmates at Citrus County Detention Facility in Lecanto, Fla.
The Board will be taking information on Nov. 19 at Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility in person or via telephone. Those persons who will be sharing testimony on behalf of or against any inmate located at Citrus County Detention Center, Keen Mountain Correctional Center or Wallen Ridge State Prison.
The Board will travel to the mainland to conduct parole hearings for the following inmates at the following prisons:
