V.I. Senior Men’s National Team to Play in CONCACAF Tournament

The USVI Soccer Association Senior Men’s National Team is gearing up for the inaugural season of the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) Nations League Tournament. The tournament has been created to provide an avenue for more meaningful and quality international soccer matches while uniting the CONCACAF region through competition.

The CONCACAF Nations League is a continental football competition that splits the confederation’s 41 eligible member associations into three leagues that will crown an inaugural champion in March 2020. The USVI are currently ranked 37th and will participate in League C. The other teams in the USVI group, are Cayman Islands, Barbados and St. Martin.

The USVI Soccer Association will host three home matches:
Match 1 – September 5, USVI v CAYMAN ISLANDS at 3 p.m. (Soccer Complex and Training Facility)
Match 2 – October 15, USVI v BARBADOS at 3 p.m. (Bethlehem Soccer Complex on St. Croix)
Match 3 – November 19, USVI v ST. MARTIN at 4 p.m. (Bethlehem Soccer Complex on St. Croix)

Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years old.
