Valarie Warner

Valarie Warner died in Deltona, Fla., on Jan. 5.

She was preceded in death by her father, Reginald Parsons; mother, Hilda Freeman Scatliffe; stepfather, Wellington Scatliffe; sister-in-law, Bonnie Benjamin; brother-in-law, Joseph Caine; aunts: Mary Benjamin and Eugenie Fahie; uncle, Herman Freeman; and special cousin, Henry Fahie.

She is survived by her husband, Clement Warner; daughter, Kim Warner Petersen; and son, Clement Marcellous; sisters: Verna Smith, Vera Connor, Vida Rouse, Valencia Scatliffe, Winifred Callwood, Lecia Parsons, Lorna Parsons and Laverne Parsons-Donadelle; brothers: Vernon Scatliffe, Vegan Scatliffe, Elvis Parsons, Renardo Parsons, Justin Parsons Sr., Austin Parsons Sr., Lionel Parsons Sr.  and Leslie Parsons; and sisters-in-law: Uedico Scatliffe, Gladys Scatliffe, Anneliesje Benjamin, Lindy Parsons, Sondra Parsons and Patricia Parsons.

She is also survived by brother-in-law, Steve Stevens; aunts: Beryl Hodge, Doris Parsons and Alma Dawson; uncles: Stanley Parsons, Rudelle Parsons, Glandwell Parsons, Kenneth Parsons, Edgar Hodge nd Basil Hodge; and nieces: Tiffany Connor-Lindo, Toya Connor, Tonya Connor, Shenil Rouse, Sheniece Rouse, Shenovia Rouse, Terika Scatliffe, Kalima Fahie, Vernelle Smith, Shariece Parsons, Jacqueline Jacobs, Trecia Parsons, Reba Parsons, Le’Nique Parsons, Leanita Parsons and Daphne Hodge.

Other survivors include nephews: Shane Scatliffe, Shawn Scatliffe, Shamar Scatliffe, Elvin Smith, Kishawn Smith, Clement Connor Jr., Tevon Browne, T’Vonte Liverpool. Vernon Scatliffe Jr., Khalif Fahie, Justin Parsons Jr., Cade Parsons, Ronald Parsons, Terrence Parsons, Austin Parsons Jr., Gregory Tuckett, Gyles Tuckett, Lionel Parsons Jr., Levben Parsons, J’Vonne Paris, Bert Donadelle Jr.; special cousins: Mavis Lettsome and Patricia Rawlins; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The first viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 2, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.  The second viewing will be held from 9-10 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 3, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church located on the Avenue. Interment will be at Western Cemetery No. 2.
