The big tent at Agrifest was overflowing as people gathered Monday to enjoy one of the best known cultural icons on St. Croix, the Ten Sleepless Knights (TSK). An internationally known quelbe band, TSK has toured the world, representing the territory. Over the past three years, the band has added a non-profit and fundraising arm, which has also continued to train students in cultural dance.

Another favorite Monday – the last day of the fair – was the Ay Ay Cultural Dance Company, was members twirled to the sounds of quadrille dressed in authentic madras and white dress shirts, skirts and headwraps.

Along with dance, crafts and art, the fair was packed with farmers showcasing their homegrown cooking skills, produce and livestock. The livestock pavilion and surrounding pens provided fair goers to see goats, donkeys, sheep, peacocks, chickens, rabbits, ducks, dogs and even pot bellied pigs. Children and adults alike laughed and smiled as they interacted with the many exhibits and took pictures to remember the day.
