Governor Albert Bryan Jr. has proclaimed the month of September Labor Awareness and Management Month. Gary Molloy, the commissioner of the Virgin Islands Department Labor (VIDOL), invites the public to celebrate Labor and Management Awareness Month with the department. The department welcomes support in promoting the 2019 Labor Month activities by sharing the scheduled information.
Labor Month is celebrated in September annually in recognition of Labor Rights to promote advocacy among workers and management. The department will host activities that range from training and outreach to client appreciation. The events listed below are scheduled to begin Sept. 5.
