Viking Ocean Cruises’ Viking Orion will berth at the West Indian Company Dock from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 31, marking the line’s return to the U.S. Virgin Islands.

“We are pleased to once again be on Viking Cruises’ itinerary which is dedicated to creating destination-oriented experiences with fewer at-sea days and, in comparison to other lines, longer in-port stays,” said Anthony A. Ottley, WICO president and CEO.

“Viking Ocean Cruises is the third cruise line to return to the WICO dock. With the 2022 cruise season now officially underway, we expect to see an increase in cruise ship arrivals in November dependent on passenger bookings and available crew,” said Ottley.

After pausing service in March 2020, Viking Ocean Cruises returned to sailing this summer with a mandatory vaccine policy for all passengers and crew along with frequent testing during each cruise.

A brief welcome ceremony is scheduled at the WICO dock where COVID-19 protocols will be observed.
