viNGN Schedules Town Hall Meetings on Digital Equity and Learning Initiative

The viNGN announces the launch of the planning efforts for the Digital Equity and Learning (DEAL) Initiative and invites the public to attend Territory-wide Digital Equity Town Hall meetings.

The DEAL initiative is a years-long program that will promote digital literacy and will provide community access to technology and high-speed internet. viNGN will partner with community organizations to create programs that meet the needs of the people of the Virgin Islands. “We are using this opportunity to close the digital divide in the Virgin Islands by empowering our community through education and access to modern technology.

“Through the DEAL Initiative, we will position Virgin Islanders to be active members of the digital economy,” said Stephan Adams, the president and CEO of viNGN.
