VIPD Details Methods to Request Police Reports and Background Checks

Due to Governor Albert Bryan Jr.’s Stay-At-Home Order, the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD) Records Bureau is closed to the public until further notice. Requests for police reports, traffic reports and background checks can be made by the following methods:

St. Thomas-St. John Districts – sttvipdrecordsrequest@usvi.onmicrosoft.com

The forms are found online at vipd.vi.gov.

Mail:

The VIPD Records Bureau only accepts money orders via mail. Credit card payments can be made by phone.

Money orders should be payable to the order of GVI. (Government of the Virgin Islands)

Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.
