VIPD Investigate First Degree Assault in Estate Engihed

V.I. Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives are investigating a First Degree Assault which occurred at about 7 p.m. Monday, September 19, at a private residence in Estate Enighed.

A 49-year-old male victim was stabbed in the upper body, hip, and back during an argument over a cell phone.

The victim was taken by ambulance to the Myrah Keating Smith Community Health Center and later transferred to the Roy Lester Schneider

Regional Medical Center on St. Thomas where he was interviewed by VIPD officials.

VIPD St. John Deputy Chief Darren Foy said the case remains under active investigation and detectives are following all leads to locate the suspect.
