Virgin Islands Fire Service Issues Territorywide Burn Ban

Due to dry weather conditions, the Virgin Islands Fire Service has issued a ban on burning.

Effective March 15, all outdoor burning is temporarily prohibited in the territory.

Existing burn permits will be suspended, and no new permits will be issued.
