Viya, the leading telecommunications provider in the Virgin Islands, announces that there will be a scheduled network upgrade that will affect cable TV, internet and telephone service for customers in the district of St. Thomas/ St. John. This network upgrade will begin at midnight and end at 3 a.m., on Wednesday, June 22.
During the maintenance period, customers in the following areas may experience intermittent service: Pastory, Crown and Hawk, Charlotte Amalie and Tutu.
If service is not restored after the maintenance time frame, customers are asked to reset the modem by unplugging the modem from the power source for five minutes and then re-plugging it to complete the power cycle.
