The USVI U-20 Soccer Team will compete in a 34-nation tournament that will determine which region’s teams will participate in the FIFA U-20 championships next year. Members of the VOLTS will be some of the USVI players.
The team includes current Virgin Islands Montessori School & Peter Gruber International Academy students (the VOLTS) Ammiel Maynard and Jimson St. Louis, alumni Grant Farrell ’18 and Seidon Nemeth ’18, displaced-by-Irmaria student Quinn Farrell, and former student Orion Mills (older brother to current student Jacob Mills).
The U.S. Virgin Islands will play five games on Nov. 1-9, including a game against the U.S.A. team on Saturday, Nov. 3. Games can be viewed on the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football’s (CONCACAF) website (www.concacaf.com).
