Walter Seaton Dies at 82

Walter Seaton

Walter Seaton of New Contant, formerly of St. Kitts, having celebrated his 82nd birthday on Nov. 9, died on Sunday, Nov. 12.

He is survived by her son, Nigel “Trucapo” Lewis on St. Kitts; caretaker and niece, Dr. Jennifer Palmer Crawford; goddaughter, Carol Saddler; many nieces and nephews on St. Kitts-Nevis, the UK, USVI and the USA including Franklyn and Jeffrey Seaton, Kenrick, John, and Paulette Palmer Alexton, Gwenette, Loretta and Lynn Woolward Glenroy, Trevor, Desmond, Kevin, Steve, Avonelle Seaton, Gervin, Ann Marie, Keithley, Desiree, Karen and Brent Seaton, Zelda, Eunelda, Lancelot, Trevis, Gregory, Lesmore and Erdley Seaton, Beryl, Beverly, Althea, Henrietta, Emily, Eric and Catherine.

He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Hyacinth Seaton; cousins: Bishop Charles Seaton, Lou Jacob McCarty, Icilma Springer and Mary Seaton; special mentions: Patrica Lewis, Lionel Gumbs, Claretta Willock and family, Geraldine Walters-Buncome and family, Yvonne Nisbett, Veronica Harrigan, Francis Crawford, Jasmine Warner, Orngel and Javashti Battice.

The viewing will be held from 10-11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, at Blyden Memorial Chapel. The service will follow at 11 a.m. at Blyden Memorial Chapel. The interment will be at Eastern Cemetery. Condolences may be made online at www.turnbullsfuneralhome.vi.com.
