UPDATED: Wanted 29-Year-Old Zahkeed Bright Found and Arrested

Zahkeed Bright, 29, of St. Croix, who was a suspect in a robbery case, turned himself into police Thursday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

Bright was arrested and charged with attempted murder, assault, robbery, using a dangerous weapon during a crime of violence, unauthorized possession of a firearm, and possession of stolen property, according to the police report.

His bail was set at $100,000. Bright was taken into custody and remanded to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending an advice of rights hearing.

Zahkeed Bright, 29, of St. Croix is wanted by police for assault, attempted murder, robbery, unauthorized use of a vehicle, unauthorized possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of stolen property, the V.I. Police Department said Monday.

According to the police report, Bright is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs about 130 pounds, and has a dark complexion, brown eyes, and black hair.
