WAPA Customer Service Offices to Close for Easter Holidays

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority Customer Services Offices throughout the territory will be closed from Thursday, March 29th through Monday, April 2nd in observance of the local Easter Holidays.  Customer Service Offices will reopen on Tuesday, April 3rd, at 7:30 a.m. on St. Croix and St. Thomas, and 8 a.m. on St. John.

Customers are reminded that other payment options are available, to include: online payments at www.viwapa.vi, placing a check or money order in the drop boxes at WAPA business offices, by mail using the envelope included with the billing statement, or at the payment kiosks located in Petrus Plaza on St. Thomas, which are available daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Automated water standpipes will continue to operate 24 hours each day.  To report water problems on St. Thomas/St. John call 340-775-5873 or on St. Croix call 340-773-3775.  Service requests can also be made by clicking on the red and yellow button on the home screen at www.viwapa.vi  for immediate attention, as line crews, plant and water operators, and telephone dispatchers are on duty. The public is asked to drive cautiously during the holidays to avoid collisions with utility poles which may result in injury, property damage or electric service interruptions. Customers experiencing service emergencies or planning work near power lines should first advise WAPA by calling 340-774-1424 in the St. Thomas/St. John district or 340-773-0150 on St. Croix.
