A major electrical service interruption is affecting all customers in the St. Thomas – St. John District following an apparent electrical fault that tripped Feeder 6A followed by the subsequent loss of generation capacity at the Randolph Harley Power Plant, according to a press release from the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority.
Efforts are underway to restore service to all customers. The outage occurred at approximately 7:20 p.m.
