The Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority would like to inform the community of the following hours of operation in observance of Christmas Day, Christmas Second Day, New Year’s Day and Three Kings Day holidays.
Additionally, the administrative offices on St. Croix will be closed on Tuesday, Dec. 24 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for Christmas Eve, Tuesday, Dec. 31 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for New Year’s Eve and on Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the Crucian Christmas Festival Food, Arts and Crafts Fair. Administrative offices territory wide will be closed on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Crucian Christmas Festival Children’s Parade.
During closures, residents are asked to take their household waste to the nearest bin site, either Cotton Valley, Concordia or the Peter’s Rest Convenience Center.
