William Author Freeman, Sr., aka “Ten”, of Lorraine Village, passed away on April 24. He was 84 years old.

He was preceded by his grandchild, Kendall Freeman.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn C. Freeman; daughters, Evelyn Freeman, Michelle “Cutie” Freeman, Bridgette Freeman-Clarke, Yvonne Freeman, Sharon Freeman, Eunella “Silma” Ferguson; sons, William Freeman Jr., Trevor Elliott, Orson Hanley, Eddie Ferguson; grandchildren, Leshaun Browne, Zalik Prentice, Zahquan Francis, Toolie Mulley, Talia & Elijah Elliott, Ebony Freeman, Bianca Olliver, Adriansen & Romona Hendrickson, Evana Ferguson, Tamisha Bragg, Brandon Hanley, Ella Grace Hanley, Donna Smith-Martinez, Dwayne Freeman, Monica Smith, Naomi Smith; great-grandchildren, E’Lyrna Henry, Knyjah, Knayjah, & Se’Kaijah Freeman, Leshaun Benjamin, Zanajah Browne, K’hione’ Prentice, Zeshua Lindo, many precious great-grandchildren too numerous to mention; sisters, Hyacinth Anita Saddler, Margaret Burton, Lorna Saddler, Christine Springette; brother, Castro Saddler; nieces, Myrna Pemberton, Melissa Liburd, Wendy Smith, Cheryl Parris, Nida, Shenida, Gladys Walters; nephew, Seymone Liburd, Ricky Saddler, Junior Saddler, Wesley Burton, Sean Springette; precious friends and other relatives too numerous to mention.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26, at St. Luke A.M.E. Church. Viewing begins at 9 am, with service at 10 am. Interment will be held at Kingshill Cemetery.
