Arborists’ Workshop to Teach Selection and Care of Trees

The University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service’s (UVI-CES) Agriculture and Natural Resources Program, in partnership with the V.I. Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division, will hold arborist workshops on the “Selection, Establishment and Care of Virgin Island Trees.” Come to learn about: selecting quality trees, planting and establishing trees; preventative pruning and restoring trees.

The workshops will be held Tuesday, July 23, on St. Croix at the Research and Extension Center (REC) Room 133, and Thursday, July 25, on St. Thomas at the CELL Training Room. Both workshops will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
