Astor L. “Baba” Donadelle, 72, of Bronx, New York (formally of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands) died on Monday, Nov. 20.
The funeral service celebrating his life will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 22, in Frederick Evangelical Lutheran Church, 7 Norre Gade, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands 00802. Interment will be in Western Cemetery No. 1.
The first viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 21, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. The second viewing will be the morning of the service from 9-10 a.m. at the church.
He is survived by his children: Kamal, Kamilah, Dionne, Ka’dya, Kahlief, Dornell, Dominique and Aliyah Donadelle, and Felicia President-Gadson; siblings: Norida Donadelle-Phipps, Patricia Battiste, Florencia Simeon, Janicia Burnett, Alicia Smalls, Dahlia Hendricks, Yvonne Hughes, Ritza, Ashley, Cornel, Wayne and Wilton Donadelle, 16 grandchildren; and many other family and friends too numerous to mention.
