It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Beatrice Bernice Crandall Wiltshire, on Nov. 22, 2025, at the age of 94 years.

Bernice was born on April 23, 1931 in Road Town Tortola, BVI. Bernice grew up surrounded by the warmth of her family. In her early twenties, she journeyed to the US Virgin Islands with her mother and brother, a trip that would forever change the course of her life. It was there that she met her beloved husband, Ricardo A. Wiltshire, with whom she shared a long and devoted courtship before marrying. Together, they built a beautiful family of ten children, seven sons and three daughters, a testament to their enduring love and commitment.
Bernice’s passion for children extended beyond her own family. She dedicated more than 25 years as an educator, shaping young minds with patience, kindness, and wisdom. Her career touched countless lives, and she retired in 1994, leaving behind generations of students who benefited from her guidance and care.
She will be remembered as a woman of strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren carry forward her values of love, perseverance, and faith.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo A. Wiltshire, sons Vincent and Kenneth Wiltshire, and is survived by her eight children, their families, and a host of relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
