Bërthe Victorine Warner, beautiful and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, died at the age of 86.

Bërthe Warner was preceded in death by her husband, Raphael Warner; mother, Paulette Junkerre; father, Saint Clair Richardson, sister, Marietta Warner; brother-in-law, Adolphe Warner; sons: Maurice Warner, and Joshua Warner; uncle, Radford Richardson; cousins: Victor Kingsale, Etienne and Rupert Warner; daughter-in-law: Jacqui Warner; granddaughter, Gabriella Warner, grandson, Manuel Warner; and son-in-law, David Fernandez-Cruz.

Bërthe is survived by her aunt: Sylvanita Connor; sisters: MisJoe Charleswell, Eileen Wells, Alice Poppone, Marie Santiago, Jane and Joan Richardson; brothers: George Junkerre, and Gregory, Steven and Brian Richardson; daughters: Jacqueline Hyman, Adele Smith and Jeanne Warner-Pruitt; sons: Roy Warner, Lindford Warner, James Warner, Julian Warner and Jerome Warner; daughters-in-law: Jacinth Warner, Natasha Masicot, Gwenita Warner, Donna Laurent, Sabina Walters and Shavoya Fernandez-Cruz; sons-in-law: Noel Smith, Darryl Pruitt and Wilbur Jordan; and cousins: Hugo Carty, Rudolph Warner, Adrienne Warner, Sandra Richardson, Daphne Hodge, Marie Junkerre, Delois Charles, Nixon Hodge and Glen Hodge.

She is also survived by granddaughters: Geraldine Chirlais, Nicole Jordan, Jalicha Persad, Chené Warner, Chanté Warner, Anna Warner, Donnelsa Laurent and Marisa Warner; grandsons: David Fernandez-Cruz, Willie Pruitt, Devin Pruitt, Deion Pruitt, Jean-Michel Charlais, Jerome Hyman, James Warner Jr., Jaivon Warner, Akeem Warner, Alex Warner, Chekay Warner, Jahan Maduro-Warner and Akeem Laurent; and great-granddaughters: Ambrya Mack, Janelle and Jania Fernandez-Cruz.

Other survivors include great-grandson, Xavier Galarza; special friends: Yvette “Nin-Nin” Joseph, Valerie Mark, Patricia Maduro, Michael Rodriguez and Calford “Capi” Charleswell; as well as a host of family and friends who are too numerous to mention.

Funeral services for Bërthe Warner will include Tributes beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a Homegoing Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, at The Mount Zion New Testament Church of God, Anna’s Retreat, St. Thomas, USVI 00802. Funeral arrangements on St. Thomas are provided by Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.

The final Homegoing Celebration Service will take place on Saturday, March 8, at the Church of God of Prophecy, at 27 Union Road, Cole Bay, St. Martin, DWI, with burial to follow at the Marigot Cemetery on St. Maarten, FWI. Funeral arrangements on St. Martin are provided by The Saint Martin Funeral Home.
