Bomani Kambui Christian

Bomani Kambui Christian died on Nov. 1. He was 48 years old.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Beulah Williams and Ann Benjamin; grandfather, Emile (Bolke) Williams; and aunt, Dorine Irish.

He is survived by his mother, Joy Williams; father, Delroy Christian; adopted parents: Charles and Audrey Farrell; daughters: Lajessia, Brianna and Kailee Christian; sons: Jalani, Bomani and Omani Christian; sister, Ashaki Christian-Ortiz; brothers: Kimani and Rudo Christian; sisters-in-law: Michon Christian and Thema Macedon; brother-in-law: Jose Ortiz; nieces: Ah’zariah Benjamin, Ah’Niyah Heywood, Ah’Celia Ortiz, Charisma, Aliyah, Amera, and Kailah Christian;

He is also survived by nephews: Asarheem Benjamin, N’Kosi Benjamin, Jahllyjah Ortiz, Malakai, Kymani, and Jahmarie Christian, Zane and Seth Adderly; great niece, Miyah Henry; aunts: Hazel and Delarie Williams, Sherline Williams-Nathaniel, Alice Ramos, Leona Leaperl, Margarita Heywood and Marilyn Christian; uncle, Jean Williams; and great uncle: Simeon Williams.

More survivors are cousins: Marie, Christine and Christian (Masul) Danielson, Michael (Mikey) Williams, Charles (Richie) Richards Jr., and Monica Joseph, Debbie, Laurie and Alvis Irish, Craig (Dopey), David, Jackie, Bluff, Bigga, Tootsie and Sharmaine Fawkes, Terry, Jeniese, and Jason Williams, Richard Ramos, Valerie, Rodney (Tootie) McIntosh, Kishawn Creque, Lakeisha and Latisha Leaperl.

Other survivors include special friends and family: Nyisha Richards, Celina Riviere, Jamalia Lockhart, Veda Emmanuel, Victor Somme III, Rev. Jermaine Mulley, the DeCosta family, the Miller family, the Hillside Crew; as well as other family and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23, at Divine Funeral Chapel. A funeral service and interment will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Kingshill Cemetery.

The family respectfully requests that attendees wear a face mask and adhere to the social distancing requirements. Attendees are also encouraged to wear festive colors.
