Caroli Estella (Parry) Joseph Dies

Caroli Estella (Parry) Joseph

Caroli Estella (Parry) Joseph was born on April 11, 1948, to George Elvado Parry and Gwendolyn Agatha Carty Parry, now deceased.

Caroli was the third child of six children: Madina V. Parry Brantley, Eugene H. Parry, (now deceased), Vera V. Parry (now deceased), Bustace A. Parry and George E. Parry (now deceased).

She was baptized, christened and confirmed in the St George’s Anglican Church in Basseterre, St. Kitts, which went to provide evidence of her strong belief and strength of faith. She and her family had a personal relationship with the LORD.

She attended the Basseterre Girls Middle and High Schools. Upon graduating high school, she relocated to St Thomas with her parents. Caroli received her bachelor’s degree in law and accounting at St. Thomas University in the Virgin Islands.

During her studies, she met the love of her life, friend and soulmate, Quinton A. Joseph Sr., and they wedded after six months of courtship. They were married for 53 years.

She gave birth to four children, two boys and two girls, by whom she was affectionately called “Mommy,” then and forever: Quinton A. Joseph Jr., Michelle C.I. Joseph, Jean-Pierre S. Joseph and Jermaine K Joseph.

In 1972, Caroli and her family relocated to New York where she worked at the Reed Park Nursing Home as CNA for 3 years. In 1975, Caroli and family moved to Boston, Mass., which would become a secondary home for the Joseph family. She began working at Roxbury Community College for numerous years; she then retired. In Boston, she also attended Bentley College.

In addition to her career, she was an extremely gifted and talented woman. She loved cooking, baking, sewing, crafting, painting, sculpting, creating pottery, jewelry making, crocheting, knitting and teaching her children and others. She was considered the neighborhood mother.

Caroli Estella Joseph leaves behind her loving husband, her four children and their three spouses, her 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, a multitude of nieces and nephews (grand, great and great-great), as well as countless other family members and friends.

Caroli was always a nurturing and loving being, from the minute she was born until the day that she took her last breath in the arms of her beloved husband. Her legacy will not be forgotten, as she will forever be in the hearts and lives of all the many people who loved her.

Special recognition goes to Mommy’s longest-standing friend who, I can say, stalked Mommy once she was sick. Thank you for your constant reliable, encouraging and uplifting words to Mommy during her time of need. We love you, Valerie Lake Hart.

Thank you all for coming to celebrate the life of Caroli Joseph.
