Christmas Spoken Here – Perfect Place to Find Holiday Gifts and Santa

Santa will help make the season bright for children of all ages as The St. George Village Botanical Garden (SGVBG) hosts Christmas Spoken Here on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Gate admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 12. Those under 5 are free. Advance tickets may be purchased online.

Holiday shopping will be provided by approximately 50 vendors selling arts, crafts, and food spread throughout the grounds from the Bodine Center to the Great Hall.

The Children’s Museum will be located in Laura’s Garden, which is found along the path from the Bodine Center to the Great Hall. There will be special activities for children offered there throughout the event.

 

As part of the entertainment, local choirs will give voice to the sounds of Christmas.

St. Croix Reformed Church – 12-12:45 p.m.

St. Mary Catholic Choir – 1-1:30 p.m.

Southgate Baptist Church – 1:30-2 p.m.

Freewill Baptist Christian School – 2-2:45 p.m.

St. Croix Christian Church – 3-3:45 p.m.

Bodine Area Choir Performances: 

UVI Voices of Inspiration Choir – 11-11:45 a.m.

Holy Cross Youth Choir – 12-12:30 p.m.

Santa will be at the Bodine Center to listen as children tell him their Christmas wishes. Photographer Alda Anduze will be on hand to take pictures of children, adults, and families with Santa.

A special treat this year will be parking in a large lot across from the St. Croix Blue House just past the turn from Queen Mary Highway. There will be free mini buses running a loop from the parking lot to the Bodine Center throughout the day. Carambola Zip Line will provide the buses. Please do not park along the road.
