DOL Encourages Participation in the 2nd Annual Labor Affairs Summit

V.I. Department of Labor (DOL) Commissioner Gary Molloy invites employees, Human Resources (HR) managers and supervisors to attend the Labor Affairs Summit scheduled for 9 a.m., Sept. 23, 2021. The topics covered will focus on COVID-19 policies, vaccination requirements in the workplace and employment practices in addition to other rights, roles and responsibility of jobseekers, employers and employees.

This forum is a culmination of employee rights outreach and employer support to commemorate Labor and Management Month (Labor Month). The month of September is officially proclaimed Labor Month to help highlight the resources and opportunities available at the DOL through the day-to-day workforce development strategy, integrated client services, monitoring of job market insights and employment security.
