Double Arrest Made in Robbery Incident

Two St. Thomas women who were wanted on robbery charges were arrested Thursday, the V.I. Police Department reported.

On Thursday, the Criminal Investigation Bureau on St. Thomas arrested Kalinda Glenn, 27 and K’osha Martinez, 22, charging both women with robbery in the second degree, assault in the third degree, grand larceny, unauthorized use of a credit card, simple assault, and disturbance of the peace, according to the police report.

Glenn and Martinez were both held on $50,000 bail each, pending further court action, the police report stated.

The victim told police on July 17, Glenn and Martinez used her Visa credit card without her authorization after they attacked her, assaulted her and robbed her of her personal belongings, the report stated.
