DPNR Modifies Hours of Service During Pandemic Emergency

Commissioner Jean-Pierre L. Oriol of the Department of Planning and Natural Resources has announced that in accordance with the State of Emergency declared by the Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the department will be implementing the following modified schedule until April 6 or as may be extended by the governor:

All public libraries in the territory will be closed to the public.

Both Fort Frederik on St. Croix and Fort Christian on St. Thomas will be closed to the public.

Pick-up, drop-off and cashier services will be available to the public only on Tuesdays and Fridays during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Remember that the cashier closes at 3 p.m.  Kindly adhere to the safety precautions established by the department with regards to submitting documents.

For in-person needs other than pick-up or drop-off services, or for general information, call 774-3320 on St. Thomas or call 773-1082 on St. Croix to schedule an appointment with the appropriate division.
