Early Voting Participants Increase in St. Croix District

Early Voting for the 2020 Primary Election continues to see a steady number of voter participation in the St. Croix District. On Wednesday, July 15, the district had 53 early voters, which brings the total number of early voters for the St. Croix District to 388.

Early Voting in the St. Thomas-St. John District continues to be suspended until further notice. The Department of Health is providing guidance on the reopening of facilities in the St. Thomas-St. John District. Additional information will be forthcoming on Friday, July 17. On behalf of the Elections System of the Virgin Islands, Supervisor Fawkes is requesting patience as the system continues to assess the situation to ensure the safety of its employees and the public.

The number of voters who have participated in Early Voting in the St. Thomas-St. John District to date before the suspension is 227 on St. Thomas and 17 on St. John for a total of 244.

Early voting will continue in the St. Croix District on Thursday, July 16 through Sunday, July 26. Voting hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The St. Croix office location is Sunny Isle Annex, Unit 4.
