Eroilda Martinez

Eroilda Martinez, also known as “Hilda,” of Clifton Hill died on Sept. 17, at home peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones.

She is survived by her daughter, Luz Elenia Martinez Camacho; sons: Misael Jr., Saul and Eli Samuel Martinez; adopted children: Angela Rosario, Maria Christina Aloyo, Angel, Adolfo, Carmelo Ayala and Rosa Almestica; grandchildren: Lina Lee Garcia, Jazmin Camacho, Misael Martinez III, Nicole, Yamiris, Saul Jr., Aiden, Yhadira, Eli Samuel Jr. and Elisamarie Martinez; and great-grandchildren: Jahleya Kishante George, Keba and Jazlin Martin, Emma Elara Martinez, Yaniel, Otoniel Pereira, Hasane Parrilla Jr. and Jayden Martinez.

She is also survived by her sister, Noemi Rodriguez; brothers: Roberto, Benjamin and Carmelo Rodriguez; brothers-in-law: Sixto Garcia, Heriberto Martinez Madera and Guillermo Martinez; sisters-in-law: Martina M., Zulma, Reina Rodriguez and Minerva Martinez Madera; daughters-in-law: Maria, Lourdes and Yenny Martinez; and son-in-law, Armando Munoz.

Other survivors include nieces and nephews:  Maria, Edwin, Nicole, Rosalia, Lydia, Raul, Jose, Luis, Leslee Ann, Tamara, Suehedie, Roberto Jr., Elizabeth, Kathy, Valerie, Reina, Angel, Ramon, Willian Jr., Rosa, Luz, Jose, Emerito, Moises, Benjamin Jr., Ronald, Ismael, Maureen, Carmelo Jr., Steven, Sabrina, Gabriela, Tangie, Yesenia and Carlos; cousins: Zoraida Rivera, Luz M. Bennett and Julio Colon Jr.; special friends: Petra and Hector Arroyo, Steve Baptist and family, Susana Quinones and family, Helena Allen, Josefina Aaron, Pascuala Saldana and Milsa Saldana-Lampe; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A first viewing for family and friends will be held from 5:30-8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 28, at Divine Funeral Services. A second viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., FridaySept. 29, at the Iglesia Metodista Hispana La Santa Cruz, 4 Royal Manor. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
