Genitha G. Martin died on May 27.
She is survived by her husband, Derrick Martin; son, Gjamouri Francis; grandson, Jassiah Francis; mother, Georgina Jeelie Lacane; father, George Jean Baptiste; sisters: Gemma Jean Baptiste, Garlanda Jean Baptiste, Lisa Jean Baptiste, Tamera Jean Baptiste and Tia Jean Baptiste; brother, Leroy Jean Baptiste; stepson, D’Sean Thomas; and grand-stepson, D’Mahli Martin Thomas.
She is also survived by sisters-in-law: Jacqueline Rawlins, Claire Martin-Conor and Dawn Henry; brothers-in-law: Norris Martin and Alphonso Bridgewater; aunts: Albertha Harris, Magdalena Joseph and Leona Joseph; uncle, Cyril Jules; close friends:Â Temara Honore, Carla Roberts and Rachael Justin; cousins: Velda Jules and Claudia Jules; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 25, at Way of the Cross Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
The family respectfully requests that those in attendance wear blue.
