Gifft Hill School Announces 8th Annual Community Service Day

Gifft Hill School is pleased to announce that the 8th Annual school-wide community service day, “Gifft Hill School Gives Back” will be held on Friday April 13th, 2018.

Students in grades preschool-12 will be participating in service projects across the island. Students and faculty will be working in groups on projects benefiting our community.

Past projects have included bake sales and lemonade stands to raise funds for non-profit organizations, painting and maintenance projects, entertaining the elderly, beach/trail clean-ups, landscaping/gardening projects, and more.

If any community member has ideas for projects or would like to volunteer on April 13th, please contact Molly Murrill using the information below. Given the widespread destruction caused by the 2017 hurricanes, we would like to perform new projects that specifically provide relief to people and organizations who have been affected.

As a strong-standing member of National Association of Independent Schools, Gifft Hill School provides high-quality educational programming to students in preschool through 12th grade on the island of St. John, US Virgin Islands.
