On Tuesday, March 15 at about 9:36 p.m. the Myrah Keating Smith Health Center on St. John, reported a gunshot victim. The victim was taken to Roy Lester Schneider Hospital on St. Thomas by ambulance boat for treatment of the gunshot wound. The male victim said he was unable to give officers any information at that time because he was in too much pain. He sustained a gunshot wound to his face that exited his ear. He was listed in stable condition.

On Monday, March 7, at about 2:15 p.m. a burglary/home invasion was reported in the area of Frydendahl, St. Thomas. Police were told that two black males entered into a residence, pointed a firearm at the and made off with an unknown amount of cash.

On Friday October 9, 2020, at around 10:18 p.m., 911 received multiple calls reporting shots fired near the corner of King and Market Streets in downtown Frederiksted, St. Croix. Officers traveled to the location, where they found an adult woman, later identified by next of kin as 21-year-old Kadiyen Illidge of Sion Hill, with a gunshot wound to the head. She was transported to the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Police said they believed Illidge had been a bystander who had been caught in the crossfire.

On Friday, October 16, 2020 at around 11:09 p.m. 911 received reports of shots fired near an establishment in William’s Delight, St. Croix. Police went there to investigate and found an unresponsive adult male on the ground with gunshot wounds to the body. Emergency technicians on the scene found no vital signs. The victim was identified by family members as 28-year-old Olson Lorenzer Tyson Jr., also known as “Junior, of Mount Pleasant Apartments.
