Tickets are available now for the first annual Love City Country Music Festival, presented by Caneel Bay Resort, set for May 14 through 16
Arista Nashville/Sea Gayle recording artist Jerrod Niemann will headline the three-day festival with performances from special guests Pat Green, Dallas Smith, Sunny Sweeney, other Nashville hit songwriters and more.

“St. John has seen live jazz, blues and, of course, reggae but never has a country music festival come to the island,” said event promoter Jamie Gladman. “Country music is such a popular genre among the local culture and tourists alike and we are pleased to be able to present such a stellar lineup of talent for our first Love City Country Music Festival.”

Niemann can be heard on the radio with his single, “Buzz Back Girl,” the newest offering from his High Noon album, which also includes the RIAA Platinum-certified smash, “Drink to That All Night.”

High Noon is the follow-up to Niemann’s acclaimed 2012 release, Free the Music. Niemann’s chart-topping major-label debut, 2010’s Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury, produced the number one hit and RIAA-certified Platinum digital single, “Lover, Lover,” and the Top 5 and RIAA-certified Gold digital single, “What Do You Want.”

Joining Niemann at the Love City Country Music Festival will be Pat Green, a country rocker from Texas, the Texan honkey-tonker Sunny Sweeney and Canadian country rocker Dallas Smith. Also slated for the festival is a special presentation of “Hit Makers & Rum Chasers” Nashville songwriters showcase. Writers (who will be announced at a later date) will tell stories and perform the songs from some of country music’s biggest hits.

The festival kicks off on Thursday, May 14, with the official festival beach party at the Soggy Dollar Bar on Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands. This event will featuring acoustic performances from top festival artists as well as special guests, California beach reggae band Wheeland Brothers.

On Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16, the show moves to the main stage at Winston Wells Ball field in Cruz Bay, St. John, USVI.
Gates open at 5 p.m. on Friday with Hit Makers & Rum Chasers taking the stage first. The songwriters showcase will be followed by, Down Home Band and Loving Mary.

On Saturday, gates open at 2 p.m. with Wheeland Brothers taking the stage first. The beach reggae boys from California will be followed by Sunny Sweeney, Dallas Smith and Pat Green. Headlining performer Jerrod Niemann will wrap up the festival on Saturday night.
