Librada Guadalupe, aka “Lala,” of Estate Carlton transitioned into eternal peace on Friday, February 16, 2024. She was 72 years old.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Teofila Ventura, and her father, Salvador Martinez.
She is survived by her husband, Anselmo Guadalupe; daughters, Elizabeth Guadalupe-Perez, Mariela Guadalupe-Avila, and Johanna Guadalupe; son, Moises Guadalupe; grandchildren, Thalia, Luis, Yarilynn, and Bianca Guadalupe, Abner, and Alexander Avila, Brianna, and Leanna Lopez, and Mar Esmeralda Batista; sons-in-law, Edward Perez, Andres Avila, and Edwin Lopez; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at La Iglesia De Dios, Inc. (Estate Profit), with the viewing at 9 a.m. and the service beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
