Office of Lieutenant Governor to Modify Two Service Division Locations

Office of the Lieutenant Governor –

Lt. Gov. Tregenza A. Roach Esq. informs the public of modifications that will be made to two Office of the Lieutenant Governor service locations.

Effective Monday, Feb.13, the Passport Acceptance Facility on the island of St. Croix will be relocated from Government House, Christiansted, to Government House, Frederiksted, located at 315 Prince Street, Frederiksted, VI  00840.  The office continues to serve members of the public by appointment only.  Call 773-6449, ext. 3419 to schedule an appointment.

Effective Tuesday, Feb. 21, the Division of Recorder of Deeds on St. Thomas located at Suite 1B, the ground floor of Nisky Center, lower-level parking lot (former location of the immigration office), will allow members of the public to conduct reviews of documents and books under the division’s custody in a specific area designated for the review.

This review will be allowed by appointment only.  To ensure that your desired appointment date and time are available, customers are asked to call 774-2991, ext. 4293 to reserve the date and time for the review.

Customers are asked to continue to practice social distancing in observance of COVID-19 protocols at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.  Further, while it is no longer mandatory that masks are worn in public places, customers are encouraged to wear a mask when they are in close proximity to other persons.
