On Sunday, May 15, 2022, at 8:05 a.m., a domestic disturbance in the Walter I.M. Hodge Housing Community, Frederiksted, St. Croix, was reported to the 911 Emergency Call Center. According to the officers who responded, upon arrival, they spoke with the victim, who said that 33-year-old Khamir L. Clarke, a family member, assaulted her. The victim stated that Clarke threw a bowl of porridge and a cup of tea at her, soiling her dress.
When officers met with Clarke, he admitted getting into a verbal altercation with the victim but denied assaulting the victim. He was arrested for simple assault & battery and disturbance of the peace.
No bail was set. He was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights Hearing set for May 16, 2022, at the Superior Court.
