Marjorie Hazel Dies at 84

Marjorie Hazel

Marjorie Hazel, also known as “Suntat,” was born on June 27, 1938 and died on July 3, 2022.

She is survived by her husband, Melford Hazel; brother, Samuel Parry (Nevis); daughters: Caroline Richards, Tessa Parry-Jeffers (Nevis), Averil Parry-McFadden (Canada) and Dianne Swanston (U.S.); sons: Stedroy Parry (Nevis), Victor Carlos Jr. (U.S.), Michael Powell (U.S.), Pierre Cremas (U.S.) and Dennis Cremas (U.S.); nieces: Angela Browne (Jamaica) and Diana Powell; and nephews: Ronald Browne (Nevis) and Keethleey Browne (Nevis).

She is also survived by grandchildren: Sean Huggins (U.S.), Duanne Pemberton (U.S.), Juan Parry (Nevis), Jomo Smithen (Nevis), Shane Parry (Nevis), Akim Pemberton, Mario Parry (Nevis), Jamie Parry (Nevis), Michail Brookes (Nevis), Mishkin Brookes (Nevis), Avry Richards (U.S.), Audy Richards, Mikel Cremas (U.S.), Taylor Cremas (U.S.), Thomas Cremas (U.S.), Ju-vaun Parry (Nevis), Kernesia Parry-Godfrey (Nevis), Shadia Parry-Rogers (Nevis), Kazel Willams (Nevis), Cavelle Parry-Lennon and Kayla Cremas (U.S.).

More survivors include great-grandchildren: Shevincia Lewis (Nevis), Malique Jones (Nevis), Zalique Griffin (Nevis), Dominic Rogers (St. Kitts), Nathaniel Rogers (St. Kitts), Micha Huggins (U.S.), Theodore Huggins (U.S.), Eden Prince Godfrey (Nevis), Jamoy Parry (Nevis),Noah Pemberton (US), Jahmoyah Parry (Nevis), Janiah Parry (Nevis), Shajuane’ Parry (Nevis), Keianna Parry (Nevis), McKia Seebaran (Canada), Janiah Lennon (Canada), Makhai Lennon (Canada), Jynorah Pemberton (U.S.) and Jayde Pemberton (U.S.); and sons-in-law: Derrick Jeffers (St. Thomas), Curby McFadden (Canada) and Anthony Richards (BVI).

Other survivors include family members: Maynard family, Lewis family, Powell family, Bath Village Community, Parry family at Hamilton Estate Nevis, Parry family at Cotton Ground, the Entire Brown Hill Community (Nevis), the Honorable Mark Brantly Premier of Nevis, the Honorable Hyleta Liburd, Elmo Liburd and the Church of God Prophecy family at 171 Richmond; as well as many other relatives too numerous to mention.

The viewing will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, July 18, at the Church of God Prophecy, 171 Richmond. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
