AARP Virgin Islands is hosting a free Hispanic Heritage Month event beginning live on the Web at 7 pm. Saturday and featuring virtual workshops and a concert by Puerto Rican band Plena Libre.
The workshops tell the story and explore the roots of Bomba and Plena, performed by four-time Grammy-nominated and Latin Grammy-nominated Plena Libre and folkloric dancers.
Those interested can register here and enjoy an evening of music and dancing from the comfort of their home.
