My family and I would like to acknowledge and thank Officer Vanterpoole who, within an hour, apprehended a young man who trespassed and committed vandalism on our property.
At about 11 p.m. Sunday night, my son and his wife heard someone trying to enter their apartment on our lower level. My daughter-in-law chased him down the road and called the police, who were here within minutes. Officer Vanterpoole and his co-officer, Pinney, made notes of the destruction and disarray of our storage area, and noted a car had been spray painted with appliance epoxy paint. We received notice that a report had been filed and the suspect incarcerated.
