A St. Croix man was arrested for sexual assault, police said Friday.
A female reported that she had been sexually assaulted by John M. Green, 58, at the Kings Alley Hotel on St. Croix on Nov. 19, 2020. An investigation led to an arrest warrant being signed and issued for Green on Sept. 7, according to the V.I. Police Department.
Green was arrested and charged with unlawful sexual conduct. He was unable to post bail set at $35,000 and was remanded to the John Bell Correctional Facility pending his advice of rights hearing set for Sept. 26, police said.
