Staff Sergeant Julian Christopher Francis Jr. died on April 9.
He is survived by his mother, Carlena Edriana Douglas; father, Julian Christopher Francis Sr.; wife, Ashley Dobson Francis; stepson, Amir Dobson; stepdaughter, Armani Toney; brother, Carmi Thomas; and sisters: Nakisha Casimir, Nikisha Francis, Naisha Francis, Kadijah Francis and Shamira Smith.
He is also survived by grandmothers: Cynthia Douglas and Joyce Jules-Francis; grandfathers: William Warner and Kenneth Francis Sr.; nephews: Kaiden Forde, Dale Richards Jr., Jordin Richards and Patrick Carter Jr.; niece, Che’Layah Bussue; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will be held from 4-6 p.m., Friday, May 20, at Turnbull’s Funeral Home. The second viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 21, at Living Word Family Ministries. A burial service will follow the funeral service at Smith Bay East End Cemetery. The family requests that everyone wears festive colors. A mask or face covering is required.
